Eligibility for admission for BA in English :

At least GPA 2.5 at SSC and HSC or equivalent. If the students get a GPA of 2.00 at SSC and HSC or equivalents level, he or she must have a total GPA of at least 6.00 in both the Exams .
At least five subject at O-Level and two subjects at A-Level with minimum `B` grade in four subjects and `C` grade in three subjects .

**Conditions:
* The scholarship based on SSC+HSC or equivalent results will be continued for first 1-year without considering required CGPA/SGPA at MIU examinations. After 1 year such scholarship will be continued based on maintaining of the required CGPA/SGPA at MIU examinations.

**Student may enjoy the next slabs' waiver benefit up to the lowest slab according to required CGPA/SGPA at MIU examinations.

Mode of Payment (Except B.Pharm. & LL.B.)

Students have to pay the required fees/charges of any semester in 2 (two) installments:

For 1^st semester:

a) The students will pay Tk. 16,000 as admission fee and Tk. 10,000 as semester fee at the time of admission.

b) The remaining fees/ charges (if any) must be paid before the mid-term examination**

For Other semester:

a) Tk. 10,000 has to be paid during registration.

b) The remaining fees/ charges (if any) must be paid before the mid-term examination. **

Necessary documents for admission:

1) Four (4) copies of recent passport size photographs

2) Photocopies of all academic transcripts

3) Photocopies of all academic certificates and testimonials

4) Photocopy of NID or Birth Certificate

5) Other documents asked by MIU authority

Other Criteria:

Scholarship based on SSC and HSC or equivalent results, and special scholarship shall remain valid for 4 years/entire program subject to maintaining required SGPA/CGPA at MIU examinations.
A student may avail only one type of scholarship/scholarship at a time from the above categories (I, II & III) whichever is maximum for him/her.
scholarship/Scholarship will not be applicable for retake/improvement courses.
Any student enjoying scholarships must obey the rules & regulations of MIU, failing which may result in the cancellation of his/her scholarship.
The students of freedom fighter quota must maintain minimum CGPA 2.50 at MIU examinations as per UGC rules.
In case of special scholarship, the authority of MIU reserves the right to change the policy time to time in the greater interest of the university.
