Jarin Tasnim is currently working as a Lecturer in English at Manarat
International University (MIU). She completed her BA (Honours) in English
Language and Literature from the University of Asia Pacific and her MA in English Studies from Jahangirnagar University. Her major was in Literature and
Cultural Studies. Her research interests include the areas of literature, film,
media, and cultural studies. She is also interested in critical theories,
including ecofeminism, feminism, meta-modernism, etc. She has successfully
presented one research paper at an international conference, and two additional
papers have been selected for presentation at two different international
conferences. She is also working as a research assistant in the Department of
English at Jahangirnagar University. She led the UAP Literary Club as the President.
She was also a member of UAP Drama Club and UAP English Language Club. Besides,
she loves poetry, and her poems are published in various national newspapers
and blogs. Additionally, she serves as an editor at Litfolks.
