Career Summary

Assistant Professor Zaheen Mahbub, son of Professor Mahbubur Rahman (Retired Principal) and Professor Shefali Mahbub (Retired Principal), is currently pursuing his M.Phil. in the Centre for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR), Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka. He completed both his SSC and HSC in Science Group from Government Laboratory High School and Notre Dame College respectively under Dhaka Education Board with 1st division in both the examinations and Star-Marks in SSC. He did his BA (Hons) and MA in English Language Teaching (ELT) from the Department of English of the University of Dhaka (DU). He also completed his Masters in Population Sciences (MPS), Masters in Japanese Studies (MJS) and Masters in Education (M.Ed) from the University of Dhaka. He also finished his Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and LLB from the National University (NU) and completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) from the University of Dhaka. Mr. Zaheen Mahbub is presently serving as a full-time faculty in the Department of English, Manarat International University (MIU), Dhaka. He also worked at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Shanto Marium University of Creative Technology (SMUCT), United International University (UIU), Presidency University (PU), Green University Bangladesh (GUB), and Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB), and Dhaka Commerce College as Full-time and Adjunct Faculties. He also taught in Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC). Mr. Zaheen Mahbub presented his research paper at the international level. As a researcher, he has several articles published in different research journals. As an Ex-Cadet of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC), Mr. Zaheen Mahbub became the Cadet Under Officer (CUO) of Dhaka University Army Wing and also served as Teacher Under Officer (TUO) and Professor Under Officer (PUO) at BNCC. He was an active member of Dhaka University Drama Club. He also worked as a Rover Scout Leader (RSL). He was the Secretary of Notre Dame College Science Club, Vice President of Notre Dame College Drama Club, and Vice President of Notre Dame College International Understanding and Relations Club.
