Besides completing his BA & MA in English from Manarat International University, Hasan Al-Mahmud has attended diverse professional programs at home and abroad. He participated in a leadership program in Washington DC and Montana State University in 2014. In 2018, he attended the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program, where he got first-hand teaching experience at Chief Joseph Middle School as a Guest Teacher and also participated in the South Asian Access Summit 2019 in Nepal. In 2020, he served as one of the Chaperones for the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa, USA. Professionally, he teaches English at BIT School. He also works with the English Access Micro-scholarship Program funded by the US Department of State, supported by the US Embassy, Dhaka. In addition, he writes columns for the leading national daily newspapers and volunteers with the Rotary International.
